KUWAIT, April 24 (KUNA) -- The application deadline for Kuwait's e-Award competition will end on April 30, said secretary of the competition Manar Al-Hashash on Saturday.
Al-Hashash told KUNA that the competition, which grants KD 50,000 for winners, is held under the auspices of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and is organized by Kuwait Foundation for the Advancement of Sciences (KFAS).
The award's aim is to promote the development of information technology in Kuwait through supporting projects done by individuals or companies, she said.
The winners of the prize will be able to partaking in international competitions, said Al-Hashash. - Kuna
