Exxon Mobil has donated USD 70,000 to the Kuwait Association for the Care of Children in Hospital (KACCH)
, a non-governmental organization that extends financial help and psychological support to hospitalized children and their families. Chief Executive and Project Manager for the company "Exxon Mobil" limited for oil exploration and production in Kuwait, Dr. John Hoholk, said in news remarks that the society's donation came out of its belief in the significance of supporting charities and their effective role in the development and improvement of issues bearing on public health, education and environment. It is the company's third donation to the Kuwaiti charity, he added. He hailed the KACCH's vital role in the provision of better lives to hospitalized children who he said really need relentless support and encouragement. The KACCH is a non-governmental charitable organization registered with the Ministry of Social Affairs in 2003. It was founded informally in 1989 to help children and their families cope with the stresses of hospitalization. It is managed by volunteers and funded by donations from organizations, businesses, banks, schools and individuals in Kuwait. - Kuna
