KUWAIT, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ministry of Health announced here on Sunday that 15 world medical consultants of various specialities are to visit the country in this month.
Director of the public relations department at the ministry of health Faisal al-Doesari said in a press statement that the goal behind this visit is to benefit from these world-renowned doctors in improving the health services in Kuwait and make Kuwaiti doctors acquire new skills. Aldoesari pointed out that specialities of the visiting doctors include E.N. T, endoscopes surgeries, esteology, labs and medical emergencies doctors, besides dermatological and x-ray consultants. He pointed out that visiting doctors will carry out critical and sophisticated surgeries in addition to training doctors on these surgeries, delivering lectures, diagnosing cases and offering medical prescriptions. Al-Doesari said that Kuwait is characterized in the Middle East for having a galaxy of veteran doctors, asserting that hosting world medical consultants helps develop the health services in Kuwait and the acquisition of new expertise. He also confirmed that previous visits helped make doctors in Kuwait know the state-of-the-art data, pieces of research and technologies used by the most renowned world medical centres, hailing the interest of the political leadership in and its keenness on sustaining the development of medical services. The Kuwaiti health ministry recently has hosted many world-renowned doctors and medical consultants in order to improve the available services and exchange expertise with world doctors,besides sparing citizens the efforts of traveling abroad for treatment and dispensing with ensuing high-ticket costs. - Kuna
