KUWAIT, Feb 9 (KUNA) -- Teeth decay and early extraction are one of the most widespread dental problems among the children of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) states
, observer of the Dental and Oral Care at the Ministry of Health Dr. Sabiha Al-Mutawa said here Tuesday. Mutawa asserted to the Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the occasion of preparing for the celebrations marking the GCC Week on boosting teeth hygiene due to be held Mar 28, 2010 and the importance of exerting concerted efforts to find solutions to the problems of teeth hygiene. She also noted that the notion of holding such celebrations was one of the outcomes of the meetings held by the GCC working team on teeth hygiene where data and expertise were exchanged on such topic. All the GCC countries are going to mark this week at the same time through presenting various activities and functions for raising the health awareness of their citizens on dental and oral care. The Kuwait's ceremony will include some educational, scientific functions, besides social and entertainment activities for all walks of life and all held under the patronage of the Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer. - Kuna
