Health min. hails new clinic as "quantum leap" |

KUWAIT, April 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Minister of Health Hilal Al-Sayer said here Tuesday the new Manahi Al-Osaimi health center in Khaitan Area would be a "quantum leap" in primary medical care in Kuwait.
Speaking to reporters while inaugurating the new clinic, the minister said: "the center is a quantum leap in primary health care in the country." He said the center was like a mini-hospital that would provide many specialized health services, including eye, skin, bone, NET diseases, in addition to pre-marriage checkup. The fresh center will also provide such services as public awareness, early detection, diagnosis and treatment of chronic diseases like diabetes and heart diseases, he added. The center, which has been afforded by some Kuwaiti philanthropists, has been built on an area of 6,000 square meters in line with modern specifications. - Kuna
