Kuwait asserts importance on utilizing innovative techniques for rescue, healthcare units |

KUWAIT, June 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Health Minister Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer stressed importance Monday on utilizing innovative techniques to rescue and providing health care emergency ambulance services to meet the needs of day-to-day activities.
Al-Sayer made his remarks to reporters marking the opening of three health and emergency services ambulance centers located in Jeleeb Al-Shuykh, Rumaythiya, and Fahaheel. The three centers were built by Kuwait Finance House (KFH). The minister stressed importance on the ministry's keenness to develop the health emergency system through providing medical and nursing cadets, including qualified and trained technicians. The ministry is keen on providing efficient services to minimize the harm resulting from accidents and diseases, including emergency and disaster incidents through deployment based upon a high quality paramedics, a modern fleet, and a sophisticated communications network, the minister noted. The minister also praised KFH's role and ongoing support, including its generous contribution to establish the ambulance centers. For his part, KFH's Chairman Bader Al-Mukhazeem said that KFH is planning to donate and establish 15 similar centers in the future, noting that the first phase of such step will consist of six centers. Al-Mukhazeem emphasized heavily on the importance of having direct and continuing relation between government agencies and entities from the private sector to continue with the growing progress of social responsibility and to ensure the implementation of projects which would benefit the largest possible portion of society. - Kuna
