MoH: signing accords with 7 hospitals, sanatoriums in Munich

KUWAIT, June 22 (KUNA) -- A number of agreements were signed with seven German hospitals and sanatoriums in Munich with the aim of serving Kuwaiti patients

and providing best health services for those who go abroad for treatment, the Ministry of Health said here Tuesday.
These accords would help offer best medical care at economic prices for Kuwaiti patients, besides its importance in the hospitals' commitment to the prices according to the German laws, the availability of translation, full commitment to the guarantee sent from the health bureau on the span of time and the kind of treatment, Undersecretary of the Ministry of Health Dr. Ibrahim Abdulhadi told KUNA in a phone call from Germany.
He also asserted that German officials seek to boost health ties with Kuwait along with offering all possible facilities as well as best medical services for Kuwaiti citizens who are sent abroad to receive treatment at the state expense.
Adbdulhadi added that the Ministry of Health seeks to confine dealings in Germany to these hospitals with which bilateral agreements would be signed in what ensures the rights of the two contracting parties and help offer best medical services for Kuwaiti patients and overcoming obstacles before those who are sent by the state to receive treatment.
The health ministry official signed in the past two days agreements with six German hospitals and sanatorium in Slovakia for the interest of Kuwaiti patients.
Kuwait sends a big number of its patients to receive treatment in Germany, especially in the specialities of osteology, fractures, backbone and plastic surgery and it also sends Kuwaitis to major in so minute specialities as Germany is one of the medically pioneering world countries. - Kuna
