KUWAIT, June 23 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer praised here Wednesday distinguished Kuwaiti doctors who endow their country with a prestigious place in the international fora.
Dr. Al-Sayer praised Dr. Ibrahim Al-Rashdan, Cardiac Catheterization consultant at Kuwait Chest Hospital for his distinguished innovation on heart arteries branching treatment.
Al-Rashdan's innovation was transmitted through satellites to more than 500 cardiac catheterization consultants participating in an international conference in the US.
Al-Sayer praised in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on Wednesday the achievement made by Dr. Al-Rashdan, encouraging all doctors in this domain to continue the upgrade of level of medical services in the country.
"Kuwait attaches great importance to outstanding physicians who set a good example for their colleagues in order to attain our desired goals on the advancement of our health services," he added," Al-Sayer stressed the ministry's keenness to develop and upgrade the performance of national medical staff through its sending missions abroad on medical educational courses as well as participating in various medical seminars. - Kuna
