Kuwait Health ministry calls on Hajj pilgrims to take necessary vaccinations |

Kuwait's Health ministry's medical store and Public Health departments called Tuesday on citizens and expatriates alike who intends to do this year's Hajj to take all the necessary precautionary health measures
, including essential vaccinations against common diseases before embarking on their journey. President of Hajj Medical Services Dr. Mohammad Al-Azmi said in a press conference that the most commonly vaccines people should take are those which are against the flu and Meningitis, including anything which would affect human growth. Al-Azmi said that such vaccinations were effective during last year's Hajj season, in turn reducing the number cases which were affected by the diseases. The official noted that preparation for this year's Hajj were taking places since the past four months, adding that the medical team is keen on helping all pilgrims to ensure they conduct their rituals safe and sound. The team consist of 60 members, among them 12 doctors and 12 nurses, health clinics will spread out in designated areas in the holy lands, a daily center care will be established in the main headquarters of the Kuwaiti pilgrims, Al-Azmi added.
