DCRTD Assistant Director General and diabetes specialist Dr. Muneera Al-Arouj told KUNA that an exhibition on the Mediterranean diet will be held next week aiming to spread awareness and reduce the suffering of the sick. The three-day exhibition will include physical activities, puppet shows, a scientific movie, activities for adults, and the presentation of some Mediterranean dishes, she pointed out. The center holds training courses and programs to teach diabetes patients and their family members how to deal with the sickness, she added, More than 15 percent of adults in Kuwait have diabetes.
