Kuwait's Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayers opens next Monday a laboratory specifically designed to test H1N1 virus samples, a health ministry official said Saturday.
The laboratory, to be opened in Al-Adan Hospital in southern Kuwait, is part of the ministry's relentless efforts to test suspected swine flu patients as quickly as possible, Head of the Ministry public relations Faisal Al-Dosari told reporters. He said the laboratory would save time and effort usually taken to analyze samples of suspected swine flu patients, as it would produce results quickly. The Ministry of Health opened similar laboratories in the Hospitals of Infectious Diseases, Al-Farwaniya and Al-Jahra. - Kuna
