Dr. Safar promised to rebuild tuberculosis hospital soon -- Al-Sayer |

Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer said here on Sunday that the Minister of Public Works and Minister of State for Municipality Affairs Dr. Fadhel Safar
has promised to end all measures required by the municipality to build a new hospital for tuberculosis. Al-Sayer said in a statement to Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that minister Safar stressed that all proceedings required by Kuwait Municipality including licenses would be completed as soon as possible. He said that the old building of tuberculosis would be removed and a new one would be built, adding that the new hospital would be equipped with the best crews and medical equipment, in addition to the allocation of intensive care department in less than 10 months period. For his part, Al-Sabah Medical Zone Director Dr. Abdul Latif Al-Sahli said the current status of tuberculosis building is old and needs to be rebuilt, adding that Dr. Al-Sayer's call to Dr. Safar aimed at speeding up measures to facilitate the construction of a new integrated hospital. Al-Sahli expressed keenness of the Ministry of Health to develop its medical institutions and sectors, pointing out that a number of old wards would be renovated soon.
