Health Ministry announced here on Sunday the completion of equipping 197 clinics for children with medicine
, medical equipment and supplies for the swine flu (A/H1N1). Assistant Undersecretary for Medicine Affairs Dr. Omar Al-Sayed Omar told KUNA after meeting with Minister of Health Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, Minister of Education and Minister of Higher Education Dr. Modi al-Hmoud that there is full coordination with the Ministry of Education regarding precautions and measures to cope with the epidemic. Health Ministry equipped the children clinics and, 361 schools as requested by the Ministry of Education, explaining that the family of test equipment includes tanks and tools, medical equipment, disinfectants, sterilizers, testing kits, wheelchairs and oxygen. Omar praised the cooperation of workers and officials of the Ministry of Education and their eagerness on creating a healthy environment free of diseases. Ministry of Health has set up workshops in school administrators and some staff at the Ministry of Education to train school administrators to meet the school's plans for the Ministry of Health. The meeting was attended by the ministers of health and education, Undersecretary at the Health Ministry Dr. Ibrahim Abdulhadi, and a number of officials in both ministries. - Kuna
