KUWAIT, Sept 7 (KUNA) -- On the close occasion of Eid Al-Fitr, and travelling season the Foreign Ministry is pleased to announce to the citizens of Kuwait the launch of the free of charge IT services starting Tuesday.
According to the accelerated technology developments, the Foreign Ministry has contributed to Kuwaiti travelers as well as those living abroad a facility to speed communication with the embassies via an application provided for users of iPhone, iPad, and iPod devices, with the advantage of downloading a free program titled (Ministry of Foreign Affairs State of Kuwait) in English, to be downloaded through the (APP Store).
This application includes multiple guide services that directs the citizen to the Kuwait diplomatic mission in different countries, address of both (embassy and consulate) as well as the working hours, telephone number and e-mail.
The program also ensures for the Kuwaiti citizen the latest instructions for travel, news, and intimations of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. This application is the first of its kind in the scope of services provided by the ministries of foreign affairs in the Middle East.
The application found in APP Store is a beta version, where users can communicate with the ministry by e-mail in case of comments or suggestions about the service. - Kuna
