KUWAIT, Oct 23 (KUNA) -- The Civil Aviation Directorate is to sign tomorrow two contracts on the new air traffic radar and the new air traffic control systems with global firms , a statement by the directorate said here Saturday.
It made clear that the signing ceremonies will be carried out in the presence of the Minister of Communication and Minister of State for National Assembly Affairs Dr. Mohammed Mohsen Al-Busairi as well as Chief Director of the Civil Aviation Directorate Fawaz Abdulaziz Al-Farah along with the directorate's other top officials.
"These two projects are pioneering ones among the directorate's work program and within the state development plan which aims at increasing the efficiency and safety of the aviation system in the State of Kuwait," it added. - Kuna
