KUWAIT, April 28 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Central Agency for Information Technology on Thursday warned internet users of the looming dangers of e-mail fraudsters
-who aim to embezzle money from people. A report issued by the agency noted to a recent surge in fraudelent e-mails from copycat sites of international official bodies and banks, requesting financial and personal information. These messages include links to fake sites where hackers can receive this confidential information, the report added. The report said that means to overcome these dangers include ignoring these e-mails, making sure these sites are certified and not copycat, installing anti-spam and firewall software and notifying the rightful institutions being portrayed. - Kuna
