Since the start of the holy month of Ramadan, most internet webpages have shifted their interest to discuss various issues on the occasion of the holy month of Ramadan.
The changes even included the content, where Arabic webpages shifted their interests, and discussed many issues that cover the fasting month of Ramadan and its activities. In addition to the emergence of new websites, and new browsers, either to kill fasting time, or to acknowledge new issues from thier own interest. Mohammad Al-Hilal, who owns a Ramadan website, told KUNA on Monday that the festivity of this month brought a number of bloggers and web designers to interact with this ocassion. He added that according to many statistics web users increase to browse the internet (during this month) for religous purposes, either to find a specific item or general information and data. Al-Hilal said that the internet is a mean of technology that reflects the interst of society members, where it is necessary to understand and present their interst. Most websites are being browsed free of charge, and designed and expires by the end of this holy month, where the other stays holding same data and information till further notice. Speaking of his personal website, Al-Hilal said that it contains many information that helps and concerns the fasting individual, such as religous fatwas, in addition to the Ramadan calender with times of each prayer as well as the time to break the fast. In addition, he said that the website contains many recipes that might attract the attention of the reader (browser). Nevertheless, Al-Hilal mentioned the efforts of Kuwaiti bloggers, as well as website designers during this month, and their creativity that is protrayed on website pages.
