RTA: Over 60K passengers lifted by Dubai Metro on Friday, 12% rise reported |

According to the statistics revealed by RTA's Rail Agency, 60,837 passengers have used Dubai Metro on Sept 18 between 10 stations on the Red Line of the Metro.
Mr. Peyman Younes Parham Director of RTA's Marketing & Corporate expected that Dubai Metro would be enormously used by the public during the Eid Holidays.
"Consequently, we appeal to the riders from different social cross-sections to be more patient when entering the stations and heading for the trains."
For her part, Dr. Aysha Al Busmait Director of RTA's Customer Service Centres Department confirmed that the Department had formed the "Musanada Team" (Support) at the metro stations on purpose of giving hand and support to the public, and the team members would be characterized with carrying "Ask Me" tags. This team will be available at the top five operational metro stations as of today Saturday and all over the Eid Holidays. These stations are Al Rashidya, City Center, Union Square, Mall of Emirates and Nakheel Harbour & Tower.
