The organisers of Cityscape Dubai have said they will accept last minute bookings but have ruled out discounted rates despite a 7 percent hike on last year's prices, UAE daily Emirates Business reported on Thursday. "We can accept new applications for a couple of more days, but only if the companies are willing to be accommodated in the space that is available," Rohan Marwaha, group director of Cityscape, told the newspaper. Last week developers Emaar and Nakheel confirmed their attendance at Cityscape Dubai, the emirate's flagship real estate expo, after first saying they would give it a miss. It is not known why the two developers changed their minds, although Cityscape said no discount was offered. On Wednesday Maktoob Business reported there were up to 85 percent fewer exhibitors listed compared to last year, according to figures on the Cityscape website, which organisers said was not up to date. Instead Cityscape says there will be a 30 percent decline in space and exhibitors, the newspaper added. The four-day real estate show opens at the International Convention and Exhibition Centre on Oct. 5.
