Burgan Bank, amongst the leading regional banks in the state of Kuwait, confirmed that Mr. Masaud Mahmoud Johar Hayat has been named as its Managing Director.
Mr. Masaud Mahmoud Johar Hayat, was graduated from Kuwait University with a degree in Economics in 1973, also earned a diploma in Banking studies and many other certifications in Finance and Strategic Planning from both Harvard and Wharton universities in the United States of America. Mr. Hayat enjoys a wealth of experience over 35 years in both commercial and investment banking sectors in Kuwait and abroad.

Mr. Hayat currently holds the following major positions:
- Chairman of KIPCO Asset Management Company (KAMCO).
- Chairman of Syria Gulf Bank - Syria.
- Chairman and president of Executive committee in Tunis International Bank - Tunis.
- Managing Director in United Gulf Bank - Bahrain.
