KUWAIT, March 10 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Industries Union asserted on Wednesday the importance of activating decisions in support of national products in Co-operative societies.
Union Chairman Hussein Al-Kharafi told the press that he suggested to the Minister of social Affairs and Labor Mohammad Al-Afasi, during a meeting today, the addition of articles from those decisions to the cooperatives draft law, which was presented to the National Assembly and is awaiting approval.
Al-Kharafi stressed the importance of understanding the Kuwaiti factories' need for experienced technical labor, adding that the local market lacks such expertise; therefore, the ministry should permit attracting foreign labor.
He added that Minister Al-Afasi promised to look into activating those decisions, referring to the ministry's efforts in organizing the work and foreign labor market. - Kuna
