KUWAIT, April 14 (KUNA) -- Jazeera Airways launched 4,549 flights in the first quarter of the current year and its obligation of flight schedules reached 93 percent, which made it the "most punctual airline" in Kuwait.
Jazeera is currently operating a fleet of eleven A320 airbus planes with 22 direct destinations from Kuwait, as well as three seasonal destinations in the Middle East, Western Asia, North Africa, Iran and Turkey, said the airline Chief Executive Officer Steven Betcheler in a press statement. Proportion of punctuality of flight schedules has reached 90 percent since the launch of the airline in 2005, he added. Jazeera, in 2009, became the largest operator at Kuwait International Airport, with 1.8 million travelers, some 24 percent of the number of the travelers arriving and departing from the airport. - Kuna
