KUWAIT, May 4 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources has decided to lift the ban on the import of ornamental birds, hawks, pigeons, hatching eggs and chicks from one day old for laying hens
and broiler from the French city of De Sevres. Chairman and Director General Jasem Al-Badr said that all consignments are subject to health measures issued by the Department of Animal Health in accordance with the requirements of the World Organization for Animal Health. He added that the issuance of this decision came after reports from the organization stating that the De Sevres area was free of bird flu. - Kuna
