KUWAIT, June 30 (KUNA) -- An eminent foreign banking figure has praised performance and paramount role played by the Central Bank of Kuwait at the national level.
Simon Cooper , Chief Executive Officer of HSBC Bank Middle East Limited, hailed, an interview published by "Al-Masaref" magazine of the Kuwaiti Banks Association the spirit of endeavour manifested by the bank namely with respect of aiding the banks operating in the Gulf country on the basis of specific and well-defined reulations and rules.
The CBK deals with the local and international banks equally in terms of regulations, reports prepation and auditing, said Cooper in the remarks to the specialized Kuwaiti magazine. He also underscored the CBK vital role in maintaining the national financial stability and aiding companies suffering from financial difficulties.
