The Banker: KFH rated among best globally-rated 1,000 banks

KUWAIT, Aug 7 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Finance House (KFH) was ranked first locally, the 10th regionally and the 164 globally amongst the best 1,000 banks at the world level, according to a rating by The Banker, the Financial Times Group's magazine.
KFH Cheif Executive Officer Mohammad Al-Omar said in a comment Saturday on the report that the advanced position achieved by KFH comes as an assertion of its solid financial position and its capability of weathering the current difficult economic conditions.
Al-Omar added that KFH could keep positive financial indicators and maintained growth under the various challenges of the global financial crisis, asserting KFH interest in quality and qualitative achievement and its application of risk management criteria and wise practices.
He also affirmed that KFH policy is based on diversification of investment in kind as well as geographically through participating in various investment fields and a scrutinized geographical expansion in influential world markets, making clear that KFH seeks to maximize benefits from its available human resources.
KFH currently owns 200 branches in Turkey, Malaysia, Saudi Arabia, Bahrain, UAE, Jordan, Germany and Australia. - Kuna
