KUWAIT, Aug 31 (KUNA) -- Al-Joun International Medical Company has been established with a capital of KD 5 million, Kuwait Al-Yawm official gazette said on Monday.
The company was established as a closed shareholding Shariah-compliant company and the capital is in 50 million shares at a value of 100 fils per share, the gazette added.
The company is licensed to build and manage hospitals and to make contracts with doctors, nurses, and technicians, as well as offering medical services for individuals at home.
The company is also allowed to provide medical services for public and civil institutions according to special agreements and to organize workshops.
Moreover the company is sanctioned to own real estate and transportation means and is authorized to invest profit into financial portfolios run by other companies and specialized institutions.
The company has the right to cooperate with any institution of similar activities if that would help achieve its goals. - Kuna
