KUWAIT, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Middle East Traders two-day conference and exhibition started here Wednesday in conincidence with a similar inauguration of the same event in Qatar with the participation of the Ministry of Finance and specialized banking institutions.
Executive Director for Marketing and Media in Promo Media company Gamal Emran stressed in the opening ceremony the importance of "displaying state-of-the-art e-trading mechanisms to the Kuwaiti traders who are willing to invest in currencies, commodities and shares in the world stock markets." Emran said that this event represents a precious opportunity that brings together decision-makers and business people from both public and private sectors as well as specialists in the field of e-trading and that it is also a main podium for exchanging expertise and trade exchange between companies, institutions and individuals.
He added that the State of Kuwait enjoys safe and easy investment atmosphere, besides easy tax systems along with comfortable and safe atmosphere of work.
He made clear that the market of foreign currency and commodities has the lion's share in the shares' market and this it has many positive aspects compared to the future of trading in shares.
Emran made clear that this market operates non-stop and it can be followed up and be accessed away from the spatial and temporal restrictions thanks to the internet and the development in the telecom network.
Emran believed that this will encourage the individuals and companies to access the trading markets that were restricted to banks, but the financial transactions nowadays are carried out by the financial institutions and market makers including individuals and investment firms.
