The QE Index closed 2.51% to 8,277.61 points. As at the other GCC markets, banks and insurers declined the most. Doha Bank fell over four percent (closing at QR54.30) while Doha Insurance plunged 2.10%, finishing at QR28. Only one share, Al Ahli Bank added value (up 0.29% at QR70.20).
