KUWAIT, Sept 18 (KUNA) -- Board Chairman and Managing Director of the Kuwait Aviation Fuelling Compamy (KAFCO) Asaad Al-Saad said here on Sunday
that an average of 120 aircraft were refueled at the Kuwait International airport daily with nearly two million liters of jet fuel. Al-Saad told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) that there is coordination between (KAFCO) and the Directorate General of Civil Aviation and the Ministry of Public Works on the new company's headquarters after an expansion in the Kuwait International Airport, which is underway. He explained that meetings were also underway between the three parties for cooperation and review of engineering works for aircraft fuel supply lines of KAFCO. He said the airport expansion project is among the most important projects KAFCO is keen to cooperate with other parties to work on having it completed, indicating that the project is closely linked to KAFCO's strategy and expansion in the supply of fuel within the operations of the Kuwait airport. He noted that KAFCO's strategy includes plans to increase its capabilities of fleet and equipment to provide fuel and the provision of skilled labor as well as supply lines of international standard and specifications, as part of a private five-year plan. - Kuna
