Classes are on as usual at all schools for Monday and Tuesday, except for those adjacent to Bayan palace and Kuwait International Airport
, the Ministry of Education announced Sunday.
Parents are urged to cooperate in order to get out early after the end of school day on Monday, a statement by council of the ministry's undersecretaries said. The action is made to avoid traffic congestion likely to take place due to the GCC 30th leaders' summit, to be inaugurated Monday, it added.
The decision, made by Assistant undersecretary for Educational development Bader Al-Fureih, was endorsed by the council and Minister Dr. Moudhi Al-Humoud, the statement pointed out. - Kuna
