KUWAIT, Dec 19 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior warned campers on Saturday from coming close to, or handling, any strange objects they find out in the open for safety reasons.
Director of the Security Media Department and ministry spokesman Colonel Mohammad Al-Saber said in a press release that these deserted objects would be bombs or mines left behind after the Kuwait liberation war.
He also called on campers to stay clear of any military or prohibited areas, and said that anyone who spotted a strange object should immediately move away and notify authorities on the (112) emergency hotline.
