PACI wins award in field of electronic systems |

KUWAIT, Dec 21 (KUNA) -- The General of the Public Authority for Civil Information (PACI) announced on Monday that it won the award for best institution in the field of electronic infrastructure and electronic systems.
This award was granted to PACI during the First Gulf e-Government Conference in Muscat, Oman. PACI Director General Musaad Al-Asousi said, in a press release, that this achievement "is the fruit of hard work and great efforts," and he thanked the Central Agency for Information Technology (CAIT) for its nomination of PACI and for its active role in coordinating between PACI and conference managers. He noted that the aim of the conference is to implement e-government strategies and programs, besides exchanging expertise in the provision of services, capacity building and performance, and providing an opportunity to become acquainted with regional and global e-government achievements of the GCC countries, he added. A PACI delegation will head to the conference and receive the award, he added. The First GCC e-Government Conference began in Oman earlier today and will continue to December 23. - Kuna
