Firemen put out fire in Sharq Area, rescue six people |

Firemen put out a fire which broke out in an apartment in Sharq Area earlier Sunday and six people were rescued, said head of the Fire Directorate Public Relations lt. Colonel Khalil Al-Amir in remarks to KUNA.
Al-Amir said the six individuals were given medical care upon their rescue along with two firemen, all suffering respiratory difficulties because of smoke inhalation. He added two fire stations responded to the incident and the flames were put under control before spreading to other parts of the apartment building. He added all residents of the building were evacuated as a precautionary measure till the fire teams could give the all clear. An investigation is already looking into cause of the fire. - Kuna
