A Kuwaiti environmental activist on Sunday urged campers to keep campsites clean and not to throw plastic materials there due to relevant perils and risks.
Getting rid of plastics in the desert is a key camping negative point in Kuwait, Ornithological Society of Kuwait Chairman Abdelrahman al-Sarhan told KUNA. Such slowly decaying and poisonous plastic objects seriously affect wild animals and birds, he said. The Kuwaiti environmental activist also urged campers to keep desert plants, and not to kill wild animals and birds. He stressed the significance of boosting public awareness of environmental protection, including animals, plants and birds. - Kuna
