UN program launches contest on global climate change in Kuwait |

KUWAIT, Dec 29 (KUNA) -- United Nations program for human settlements development in Kuwait organized a competition for global climate change and the appropriate local solutions to deal with such phenomenon.
The program wished in a press statement on Tuesday the Arab youth who are studying in Arab universities to participate in writing an article on this topic.
The statement added that climate change affects all towns and villages in the world, which are the cause of the spread of this dangerous phenomenon that threatened the entire world, therefore, it is the best place to launch innovative initiatives and actions to address climate change.
In addition, the program said that the arbitration panel for the contest is consisted from experts and consultants in the field of environment, where the winning article would be assessed on how much the issue of climate change is clarified and the quality of the solutions put forward. - Kuna
