Interior ministry holds lecture to promote work of policewomen |

KUWAIT, Jan 3 (KUNA) -- The Media Security Department in the Interior Ministry held on Sunday a lecture in a school to raise awareness on the importance of policewomen
, including guidance on enrollment and graduation from the police academy.
The ministry said in a statement that the head of the Awareness Division Major Abdul-Elah Al-Abdulsalam and Lieutenant Heba Al-Khalaf headed the lecture which focused on the importance of women in police work and in society.
The two officers shed light on the need for women's efforts in various ministries' departments, including issues which deal with family matters and cases.
The statement noted that after the lecture an open discussion period took place, adding that there were a lot of questions and discussions from women applicants. - Kuna
