9th meeting of GCC broadcast managers kicks off in Kuwait |

KUWAIT, Jan 27 (KUNA) -- The 9th meeting of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) broadcast managers has kicked off here Wednesday in Kuwait
at the joint program production institution of the GCC countries for a discussion on good production projects. Head of the Kuwait's delegation and manager of the radio station known as "the 2nd program" Samy Al-Enzi welcomed -- at the opening of this meeting -- participating delegations and conveyed to them the greetings of the Oil and Information Minister Sheikh Ahmad Abdullah Al-Ahmad and Undersecretary of the Ministry Faisal Al-Malik Al-Sabah. Al-Enzi stressed the role played by the institution which he described as " The GCC Media House" which "Could establish a single GCC media action that contributed over the past years to supporting the journey of the GCC unity with all its stages." This meeting is to be attended by adviser of the National Assembly Abdullah Al-Genibi, deputy of the Radio Network at the UAE Abdullah Al-Zei'abi, acting director at the Bahrain radio Aisha Abdul Latif, director of production and contact coordinator with the Bahraini joint program production institution Badriya Al-Amer. It is expected for this meeting to discuss a number of new joint radio program projects.
