KUWAIT, Feb 6 (KUNA) -- Kuwait University is geared up for holding its annual ceremony for honoring outstanding students under the aegis of Minister of Education and Higher Education Moudhi Al-Humoud.
As many as 183 brilliant male and female students from several scientific and literary colleges are to be honored during the ceremony for the 2008-2009 academic year, Abdel-Rahim Thiab, chief of the Kuwait University's student affairs department, said in news remarks.
Students of the Faculty of Education are on top of the list; reaching 34 in number, followed by those of the Faculty of Engineering with 22 students, he said.
The ceremony will be held in the second term of the 2009-2010 academic year, Thiab added. - Kuna
