KUWAIT: The Head of the Ideal Mother Award Sheikha Fraiha Al-Ahmad, who serves as the honorary president of the Kuwaiti Human Resources Development Association
, asserted the importance of the role that human resources play in the development of societies. She was speaking during the inauguration of the First Gulf Forum titled, 'GCC Women Towards Leadership,' which was held recently at the Babtain Office Theater. Among the attendees were the American and French ambassadors to Kuwait. Al-Ahmad also stressed on the importance of patriotism and loyalty to the country, especially these days when citizens were preparing to celebrate national holidays. She highlighted how unity helps maintain a cohesive society. Meanwhile, Head of the Media Committee of the Hala February 2010 festival, Waleed Al-Saqabi acknowledged the forum for supporting investments in human resources. The younger generations utilize their capabilities for the benefit of the country, he noted. The Head of the Forum, Dr Nami Al-Nami said that this event was held as part of fulfilling its duties toward society.
