Bomb threat call in one of Kuwait capital area''s hotels - official

KUWAIT, Feb 13 (KUNA) -- A bomb threat call in one of capital area's hotels was received by the Interior Ministry's 112 Emergency number unit , and bomb squads are dealing with the matter, said an Interior official on Saturday.
Interior Ministry's official Spokesman Colonel Mohammad Al-Sabr told KUNA that at 6:27 P.M. local-time, a phone had been made in regards to a bomb planted in one of the hotels in the capital area, adding that the bomb squad is combing the hotel in search of the threat.
He did not disclose the hotel's name.
Development on the issue would be made public soon and the Interior Ministry would like to thank citizen and expatriates for their cooperation, concluded the official. - Kuna
