Accidents kill 11, thousands of violations on Nt''l Day celebrations - MoI |

KUWAIT, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- National and Liberation Day holidays saw the death of 11 people in road accidents, the Ministry of Interior said on Sunday
, adding that 13,821 fines were issued while 724 cars and 68 motorbikes were compounded. Each of the deaths occurred at different times and on separate occasions during the country's national celebrations from February 24-27, the ministry's spokesperson Colonel Mohammad Al-Saber told KUNA. The road violations also took place during Kuwait's four-day public celebrations on varied roads, Al-Saber added. The official urged drivers to abide by traffic laws and driving etiquette for their own safety and in order to limit these hazardous road accidents. - Kuna
