KUWAIT, March 5 (KUNA) -- The Ministry of Interior in cooperation with the committee in charge of demolishing violations on state property, is set to carry out a campaign on commercial buildings
as of March 14, it was announced here on Friday. The decision was made during a meeting between Deputy General Director of the Traffic Department in the Ministry of Interior Brigadier Ihsan Al Owayish and Head of the violations removal committee in the Cabinet Brigadier Saoud Al-Khatrash (rtd.). The meeting was held to discuss procedures to be taken after a number of commercial building owners were found using lands on state roads and pavements as parking lots or as areas to conduct business. This obstructs traffic and is considered a clear violations of state laws. The Traffic Department called on all business owners to remove their violations on state property ahead of the date, and invited those who have taken out parking permissions to consult the department. - Kuna
