Kuwaiti Cultural Week kicks off in Damascus on Sunday |

DAMASCUS, March 6 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti cultural week kicks off from Al-Assad National Library on Sunday in cooperation with the Kuwaiti Ministry of Information.
The five-day Kuwaiti cultural week is under the patronage of the Syrian Minister of Culture Dr. Riad Naasan Agha. It will feature a book and a photography fair which will highlight the strong ties between both countries. Later on the event will hold an economic symposium addressed by Regional Director for Central, West, and Southern Africa at the Kuwait Fund for Arab Economic Development (KFAED) Abdulrahman Hussain Hashem. Furthermore, the cultural event that coincides with the celebrations of the 49th National and the 19th Liberation Days will also hold a cultural symposium with the participation of Kuwaiti Literature Society and it will wrap up with a traditional Kuwaiti concert. The Kuwaiti culture week that highlights Kuwait's cultural history aims to inform Arab visitors about the latest developments in this sector in Kuwait. - Kuna
