KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Deputy Premier for Legal Affairs, Minister of Justice and Minister of Awqaf and Islamic Affairs, Justice Rashed Al-Hammad said Saturday a program of Scientists of the Future
would mirror Kuwait's leading role to serving science and scientists, thus boosting moderation. Al-Hammad, addressing a ceremony at the conclusion of the 3rd Scientific Course for the Scientists of the Future Program - organized by the International Center for Moderation - said the ministry was pleased with the results of the program. Al-Hammad called on importance of cooperation between government and private authorities to backing these programs to have future scientists who would be distinguished in the way they think and behave. Assistant Undersecretary for technical coordination and Hajj at the Awqaf Ministry, Dr. Motlaq Al-Qarawi, said the Scientists of the Future Program would do a great service for their nation. The Muslim communities need these elite scientists, he said. - Kuna
