Three Asians die in fire in Juleeb Al-Shuyoukh |

KUWAIT, March 20 (KUNA) -- Three Asian expatriates died in a fiery fire that broke out at a residential building in the district of Juleeb Al-Shuyoukh on Saturday.
Four other Asians and three firemen were injured in the blazes that broke out at the basement -- turned into a warehouse -- of the building, packed with plumbing tools and perfumes.
Tongues of the fire spread to high floors of the multi-storey building, according to Major General Khalil Al-Amir, the director of the public relations department of the fire directorate-general.
Maj. Gen. Al-Amir added in a statement to journalists that residents of the building including the injured and the dead were pulled out of the building, and criticized those who stored highly flammable materials in it. - Kuna
