Study on preserving Kuwait''s natural resources is vital: PAAAFR says |

KUWAIT, March 22 (KUNA) -- The Public Authority for Agriculture Affairs and Fish Resources (PAAAFR) on Monday stressed significance of a study which called for protecting Kuwait's natural resources against pollution.
The study, conducted by a physicist specialized in managing land and water resources at US university, tackled hi-tech irrigation systems which prevented the deployment of natural resources due to the use of treated sewage water, Director General of agricultural guidance at PAAAFR Ghanim Al-Sanad said. It touches on the use of modern technology adopted by some advance countries to produce pollutant free water, he said. He added that the study called upon experts in the domain to do researches on managing water resources, irrigation and increasing agricultural output in cooperation with renounced universities worldwide. - Kuna
