Kuwaiti Min. says human rights to be observed in country |

KUWAIT, March 31 (KUNA) -- Minister of Social Affairs and Labor Dr. Mohammad Al-Afasi affirmed here Wednesday that the laws and conditions of human rights would be observed in Kuwait.
Speaking at a press conference after meeting the Ministry's Human Rights team, Al-Afasi said that the team was preparing a document to show Kuwait's commitment to human rights, adding that Kuwait had recently approved some parliamentary bills regarding the treatment of foreign labor in the country. The Ministry would work on providing just salaries for foreign workers to ensure their rights and would also work on laws to facilitate the living conditions of such sector, affirmed the minister. He went on saying that the working conditions of female employees would be improved to meet international standards. - Kuna
