Kuwait Embassy sponsors Indian author''s book ceremony |

NEW DELHI, April 4 (KUNA) -- Kuwait's Embassy in New Delhi sponsored a ceremony to mark the launch of the book "Destiny's Destination" by Indian author Saulat Ali Khan, tracing Kuwaiti-Indian relations during the past 35 years.
The ceremony held in the Kuwait Embassy building in New Delhi, was attended by the Indian Minister of State for Tourism and Culture affairs sultan Ahmed, in addition to a number of Indian officials, Arab Ambassadors and elite figures of the Indian society. Kuwait's Ambassador to India, Sami Al-Sulaimani told Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) on the sidelines of the ceremony, that the embassy was keen on presenting this book, which illustrates Kuwaiti-Indian relations in the fields of politics, trade, society and culture. "Destiny's Destination" traces the extraordinary journey of Khan's life as a young man from a small village in Sihali Jagir in Uttar Pradesh (India), to a successful business man and eminent personality among Indians in Kuwait. The book documents Khan's rare gift to meaningfully touch other people's lives, an ability he has carefully cultivated during his three decades of stay in the country. "There are many moments in one's life that needs to be cherished and remembered," Khan told KUNA. Khan assured his keenness to strengthen bilateral relations between the two countries through various activities. The book narrates friendships with people and institutions that have transcended barriers and created enduring relationships, also features messages from prominent personalities in India and Kuwait. - Kuna
