KUWAIT, April 13 (KUNA) -- A Saudi Arabian airplane landed safely at Kuwait International Airport after a technical glitch resulted from failure to open the landing gear, Airport's Operations Director Essam Al-Zamil said Tuesday.
In a statement to KUNA, Al-Zamil said that the plane that was carrying 104 passengers kept flying for an extra 50 minutes before the captain succeeded in landing. Civil aviation teams were deployed in the tarmac to deal with any emergency, he said. - Kuna
