KUWAIT, April 19 (KUNA) -- Ministry of Interior, represented by the General Administration for the ports security, has allowed an Egyptian family composed of eight members to enter the country
through al-Salmi border despite the loss of their passports after a traffic accident that led to the burning of their vehicle. General Director of the General Administration for the security of land entry points, Brigadier Muhammad Idrees al-Dosari said in a press statement that this step "came under the guidance of the Ministry of Interior to deal in the spirit of the law and taking into account the humanitarian conditions." He added that the burning of the family's vehicle led to the loss of all their documents and papers, and because of the humanitarian situation and them being legal residents in the country except for one woman having a valid tourist visa, a decision was made to allow all family members entry into the country without documenting their entery in the Ministry's Computer. He said that a citizen sponsored their residence. - Kuna
